Access
Anglesey House Llandudno is an old Victorian building on the lower slope of the Great Orme, some 300 yards up from the main promenade. Access to and within the guest house is thus restricted by its age and location.
Access Statement
1. The nearest railway stations are Lllandudno (3/4 mile) and Llandudno Junction (3 miles). The nearest coach station is Llandudno (1 mile). Transport to/from any of these can be arranged.
2. Access to the front entrance from Church Walks is via a level pathway with no steps.
3. The front entrance leads to the hallway, which again is level with no steps.
4. Corridors have good colour contrast and are well lit.
5. The door to the lounge is on the right, again with no steps.
6. A porterage service is available for luggage.
7. There is one bedroom at ground level, accessed directly from the hallway. This is a spacious double room with one step up to the small en-suite shower room. It has remote control TV and cordless kettle.
8. The dining room is located on the lower ground floor, accessed from the hallway through one doorway, a 180o turn via a small landing and 13 steps.
9. Breakfast may be served in the bedrooms by prior arrangement.
10. Our menu is not printed in Braille, but we are happy to read out to those who are sight impaired. Alternatively, a large print menu can be obtained by prior arrangement.
11. The remaining four bedrooms are located at first & second storey level. Access to the upper storeys is via 11 steps to a small landing then an additional 5 steps to the first floor. To access the second floor, there are a further 10 steps to a small landing then a further 5 steps.
12. There is no lift available.
13. There is a small car parking area at the rear. Access from the rear is via ramps and paving up to the covered veranda and rear entrance, which leads to the lower ground floor breakfast room. Access from this area to the ground floor is via 13 steps (see 7 above).
Car Parking
We offer a small, informal, off-street car park for guest's use, at no extra cost. Parking is on a strictly first come first served basis, and we cannot guarantee to 'reserve' a space prior to your arrival. We cannot accept any liability for loss or damage caused to any guest's vehicle whilst parked on our property.
Pets / Smoking
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pets and we operate a No Smoking policy within the house and veranda. Smoking is permitted in the front and rear gardens.
Arrival / Departure
Earliest check-in time is 2 p.m. unless by prior arrangement and on the day of departure, latest check-out time is 10.30 a.m.
Deposits & settlement of bill
When you first make your booking, the amount of deposit will be advised to you. Deposits are normally non-refundable (please see the 'Cancellation Section' below), and may be made by cheque or any major Credit/Debit card. Any balance due may be paid in cash, personal cheque (subject to a Bank Card maximum) or by any major Credit/Debit Card, on the morning of your departure. Payment for single night accomodation may be requested on arrival. Please note that we levy an additional £2 transaction charge for each card payment taken.
Cancellation
It is not our policy to charge for cancelled holidays. However, it should be noted that in the unfortunate event of a cancellation with notice to us of less than 14 days, any deposit paid is non-refundable where holidays are due to commence outside the peak holiday period (15th July to 15th September). During the peak holiday period as stated above, any deposits paid are non-refundable if less than 4 weeks notice of cancellation is given.
